Abstract
Genome browser annotation of the locus of interest (hg18.chr4:166,017,786-166,038,125) shows an unannotated
cDNA with accession number AK092578. We report a detailed computational analysis demonstrating that the locus harbors a short, well conserved protein.
NOTE: This report was never formally published because the peptide encoded at this locus was reported in an earlier patent [ US20070258949 ]
